Brain Power Matcha Berry Smoothie

Description

Smoothies are a great way to pack a lot of nutrition into a cup. Try this version for a morning brain wake-me-up, or as an afternoon brain boost! Bustling with antioxidants, fibers, and healthy fats, this simple recipe will nourish your busy day. Soaking the walnuts makes them blend to a creamier texture and improve their digestibility. You can soak them overnight in a covered container in the fridge, so they will be ready in the morning.

Ingredients

1 cup
frozen mixed berries
1  
banana
1⁄2 cup
cup walnuts, soaked for at least 15 minutes
1 cup
filtered water
1 tsp
matcha powder
1⁄2 tsp
cinnamon

Instructions

Drain the soaked walnuts and discard the water. In the cup of a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients. Blend on high until well combined.
